I can't reply to emails or write new ones.on my Samsung S21. Reverse the "update"!

Used Earthlink 25 years and since installing the mobile app (currently Android S25) have had nothing but problems. The current issue is I can't reply or forward any email (screen is blank). And guidance from Earthlink and the internet don't help. I tried rebooting, reinstalling, attempting updates through Google Play, tried to load remote images and clearing the cache. Someone from Earthlink can contact me to walk me through remedies while I look for another provider. Anyone else have a remedy?
