FoxyProxy Basic is an open-source Chrome extension that replaces Chrome’s limited proxying capabilities with a powerful, easy-to-use proxy management tool. No paid account is required — bring your own proxies or use any vendor. Since 2006 the same team has maintained FoxyProxy, providing stable, transparent proxy switching by point-and-click icons, URL pattern rules (wildcards or regex), or per-browser-tab proxies. Key features: Point-and-click colored icons and country flags to see which proxy is active Proxy switching by URL patterns (wildcards or regular expressions) with a built-in pattern tester Assign up to 4 separate proxies to individual tabs and select a proxy for Incognito mode Import/export settings, keyboard shortcuts, global domain exclusions, and optional Chrome Sync Control WebRTC to limit IP discovery and authenticate proxy servers via webRequest Open-source code on GitHub; no remote code executed by the extension
