It automatically detects the language and matches your system's built-in voices for a seamless listening experience. With privacy in mind, all speech processing occurs locally in your browser without external servers or tracking. You can install additional free voices from your operating system and use convenient shortcut keys to listen to selected text or clipboard content (Premium feature). Talkie supports multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS, and is fully open source under GPL-3.0. Upgrade to Talkie Premium to customize voice selection, speed, pitch, and more.
