The Save to GoodLinks Chrome extension allows users to quickly and securely save web links directly to the GoodLinks app on iOS or macOS. After installing, simply click the extension button and sign in with your Apple ID (ensuring the "Keep me signed in" option is selected) to begin saving links. The extension operates entirely on the client side, communicating only with Apple's iCloud to store links, ensuring privacy and no data traversal through other servers. Note that this extension requires the GoodLinks app to be installed and will not function if Advanced Data Protection is enabled on your iCloud account. In such cases, users are advised to use the GoodLinks Share extension instead. The extension supports a default keyboard shortcut (Command+Shift+S on Mac and Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows), customizable via Chrome's extension settings for convenient link saving.
