TextSpeecher provides the flexibility to choose from various text-to-speech voices, including those natively available in your browser. Not only can TextSpeecher read web content, but it's also capable of tackling PDFs, Google Docs, Google Play books, Amazon Kindle, and EPUB files. This nifty tool caters to individuals who prefer listening to content rather than reading it. It's especially beneficial for those with dyslexia, other learning disabilities, and children who are in the process of learning to read. Using TextSpeecher is a breeze. Simply navigate to the webpage you want to "listen" to, select the text you wish to hear, and click the TextSpeecher icon that appears nearby. A compact player will pop up in your browser window, offering options to start, pause, or stop playback. If you'd like to customize your experience, you can change the voice, adjust the reading speed and pitch, or enable text highlighting. Access these settings by clicking the Gear button on the extension popup (note that you need to stop playback to see the Gear button).
